Clinical governance is the framework through which NHS organisations are accountable for continuously improving the quality of their services and safeguarding high standards of care, as defined by Scally and Donaldson. As a registrar I contribute across several. For clinical effectiveness and audit I led a re-audit on sepsis bundle compliance, closing the loop after intervention. For risk I have submitted Datix reports and presented two cases at the M&M meeting. For education I supervise foundation doctors and run weekly teaching.
